I don’t know the source of this image (I saw it on This Isn’t Happiness), but if it’s legit the USSR may have invented WE3 long before Grant Morrison.  I mean, they had an army of space dogs during the Cold War, so it’s entirely probable.

Two panels from Nothing Is Forgotten, an eleven-part web comic by Ryan Andrews. I’m not going to lie… it’s a stunning work, the sort of thing that once again reminds me that real comics are being published straight to the internet. I won’t spoil it for you, but it’s somewhere between My Neighbor Totoro and I Kill Giants. Except with absolutely no dialogue. Go ahead and read it… it will take you all of three minutes and your life will feel so much more rewarding afterwards.
